FREE LEGAL SERVICES
For Eligible Low Income Hendricks County Residents
What: In-person Applications for Assistance (No legal advice given at screening)
When: Third Wednesday of the month, 10 a.m.-noon Where: Self-Help Center, main floor of Hendricks Co. Courthouse Although there will be no charge for attorney fees, clients are responsible for filing fees and expenses. The Pro Bono Program does not handle cases relating to traffic, driver's licenses, or criminal charges or fee generating cases such as personal injury. You must apply in person to verify income and assets to determine eligibility. If you meet the necessary financial and case criteria, you will be contacted and assigned a pro bono attorney if one is available. This program was established by the Hendricks County Bar Association through a grant from Heartland Pro Bono Council. Funding was provided by the Indiana Bar Foundation.
